Welcome to Chicago Charles and all the opportunities that a wait you. Being a member of the NGH gives you the support and information to practice in the state of Illinois. The Alternative practitioner Academy (APA)Elgin, IL is a state accredited school to continue your education and acquire your needed CEU's. The people you'll meet at APA,and NGH conferences are very supportive. If you have further questions you may email me. achessen@comcast.net

Today, NGH is the largest and certainly the most pretigious organization. I believe you will find that they also have a library second to none. There is so much material available that it is difficult to find an area of your practice in which they would be undable ot help you. Last, NGH members in the Chicago area include some of the best in the business and I have found them to be of assistance and ready to share anything with you.
If, at some time, you aare inclined to attend the convention in Marlboro, MA you will find the cost very reasonable and programs to fit any and all situation you could possibly incur in your business.

Lisa Stout @ 10:05 pm

Hi Charles, First of all becoming a NGH member is very beneficial. You get access to new state and goverment laws,NGH keeps up on this. NGH is very informative. If you are also a counselor or doctor you will want to check the state laws for IL. NGH sends out a magazine that usually tells all of the upcoming conferences, and all of the new info to keep you updated. APA is in Elgin Il and can also help you with any of your credit hours needed each year. The owners are very polite and informative. Tatiana and Michael can help you with all of the training needed if you are lacking in any area. They also bring in well known instructors from all over the world. If you would like more information you can email me at LLStout65@aol.com. I hope this helps you. Thanks LIsa Stout

Joni Larlee @ 11:32 pm

Hi Charles, Well I guess they have pretty much covered quite a lot of info for you so I'd like to add welcome to a warm and caring group of people. I have gained so much from being a member of NGH not just from the knowledge I have received, but also from getting to know the other members and their willingness to share their personal stories as well as their accomplishments as hypnotherapists. We also have a midwest convention here in the Chicago area at the end of Oct. You will also enjoy meeting the people at APA and especially Michael and Tatiana because they will be able to give you any information you need . They will have your best interest at heart. Sincerely, Joni Larlee

Hello Joni, thank you so much for responding to my inquiry on behalf of NGH. It really sound like a great organization. Certainly, the responses I've gotten have been very warm.

Joni, I was trained in California some years ago and I am moving to back to Chicago, I was raised there. Iam trying to find out what the legal requirements are to practice hypnosis in the state of Illinois. Is there a website I can go to for that information?

Please advise.

Sincerely,

Charles
